Woman sues Catholic bishops after hospital fails to treat her miscarriage

DETROIT — A Michigan woman is taking on the nation's Catholic hospitals in federal court, alleging they are unlawfully denying certain life-saving treatment to pregnant women who are miscarrying for fear they might be participating in an abortion.
